App permissions
FrenXa requests device permissions only to power specific features. You can deny any permission; the related feature stays limited until you grant it in system settings.
Every permission below is optional. FrenXa asks at the moment the related feature is used, never at sign-up, and you can revoke any of them later in system settings.

Location
Used for Live Map and Nearby Friends when you choose to share. FrenXa is not designed to require continuous background location for basic account use. You can disable sharing in-app and revoke OS permission at any time.
Camera
Used to take profile photos, capture media for posts, reels and stories, attach visual content where the product supports it, and enable video calling.
Microphone
Used for voice notes, reel and post audio capture, and voice and video calls.
Photos / media library
Used when you choose existing images or videos to upload to your profile, chats, posts, reels or stories.
Notifications
Used to deliver push notifications for messages, calls, social events and other alerts you enable. You can manage notification categories in Settings and at the OS level.
Contacts
FrenXa does not require uploading your device address book to create an account. If a future invite feature requests contacts access, it will ask explicitly and explain the purpose in-product.
