FrenXa is a location-aware social platform for finding people and businesses nearby, real-time chat and voice/video calls, reels, posts, status updates, map-based meetings and local business profiles — on Android, iOS and the web at app.frenxa.com.

FrenXa combines an interactive map for nearby discovery with full messaging, calling, short video, posts and business profiles in one product. Map and calls are ad-free. You control location sharing with granular visibility settings rather than broadcasting by default.

Download the app or open app.frenxa.com, sign in with email, Google or Apple, claim an @handle, complete your profile and consent flows, and choose which permissions to grant. Phone is optional — use it later for profile contact info or two-factor authentication, not as your primary signup method.

Signup asks for a general home area to power Map, Nearby and local Business discovery — that is not your live GPS. Real-time location sharing is optional and only works when you turn it on and grant OS permission.

Yes. The same FrenXa account works across Android, iOS and app.frenxa.com. Chats, profile and most features sync; some mobile-only capabilities such as background location follow each platform’s rules.

Opt in to nearby discovery in Settings, grant location permission when prompted, and open the Map or Nearby Friends sheet. You will see friends who also choose to share their location, with distance context and quick actions to message or call.

Yes. Circle → Discover lets you browse people with filters and distance. Nearby Discovery on the map surfaces people and businesses around you when sharing is enabled. Friend requests require mutual acceptance.

Open the map to see business pins nearby, browse the Business Directory by category, or use Places search and autocomplete to explore an area. Each business profile includes hours, photos, reviews and a message button.

Create an instant or scheduled meeting from the Meetings dashboard or map. Drop a pin for the location, invite friends or a group, track RSVPs inside the app, and open directions when it is time to go. Meeting reminders arrive as notifications.

You choose visibility: Friends, Everyone or None, and set a discovery radius between 1 and 100 km. Relationship location sharing is separate and controlled per relationship. Turn sharing off anytime in-app or in system settings.

Text, photos, videos, voice notes, documents, GIFs, contacts, static map locations, live location, forwarded posts and businesses. Group chats support the same rich media. Disappearing messages and custom wallpapers are available per conversation.

Text messages in one-to-one chats are encrypted on this device when both users have keys. Photos, videos, voice notes, files and group chats are not encrypted this way. All traffic to FrenXa services uses HTTPS/TLS. See Security and Privacy pages for full detail.

Calls use real-time infrastructure (Agora). Start audio or video from a chat or call screen; group audio and group video are supported. FrenXa stores call metadata such as participants and duration — not call recordings as a product feature. Calls are ad-free.

Reels are short-form videos you watch in a vertical feed, create with camera tools, filters and music, and share with vibe-based discovery. Remix, stitch and duet flows let you respond to other creators with attribution.

Flex is a tab that combines ephemeral Status updates (text, photo or video for about 24 hours) with photo Streaks between friends. Status privacy can be All, Contacts or Selected viewers.

You can add public relationship types (partner, spouse, best friend, family) that appear on profiles after mutual confirmation. Family groups support role assignment. Optional Secret Relations are password-protected and hidden from your public profile.

Create a listing inside the app with photos, hours, category and location. Customers find you on the map and in directory search, message you in business chat, leave reviews, and call from your profile. Owners can pursue verification and promoted listings.

Yes. Core social features are free. Optional FrenXa Premium and coins are available as in-app purchases billed through Apple or Google. The map and call experiences are ad-free; some feed and chat surfaces may show ads on the free tier.

Premium typically includes an ad-free experience, premium camera filters, higher saved posts and reels limits, and a Plus or Pro badge. Exact entitlements may vary by platform and version — check the Premium screen in the app for current benefits.

Optional premium features and coins are billed through Apple or Google on mobile. FrenXa does not collect full payment card numbers. Refunds follow store policies and applicable law.

No. FrenXa does not sell personal information. Limited sharing with infrastructure providers is described on the Privacy Policy and Data Safety pages.

Use Profile → Settings → Account Actions → Delete Account in the app, visit the Data Deletion page on frenxa.com, or email privacy@frenxa.com. Trash inside the app lets you recover many deleted items before they expire permanently.

Use in-app report and block tools on profiles, chats and content. Reports cover categories such as spam, harassment, hate speech and scams. Email support@frenxa.com for follow-up. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

Every device permission is optional and requested only when you use the related feature — location for the map, camera and microphone for media and calls, photos for uploads, and notifications for alerts. See the Permissions page for the full breakdown.

FrenXa is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum digital consent age where you live. Parents and guardians should review Safety Center guidance and help teenagers configure location and friend controls.

Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Two-Factor Authentication and follow the setup for SMS or an authenticator app where available. Never share one-time codes with anyone.
